Why we exist
There is a void in the Indian education system that leaves our youth woefully unaware of the prominent social issues of our time and the role they can play to contribute towards them. This can be attributed to a high-pressure environment that prioritizes academia over all other aspects of education.
As a result, today’s youth and tomorrow’s leaders, are left lacking in their sense of social consciousness. Simultaneously, thousands of NGOs across the nation are working to highlight and improve social conditions of women, children and the elderly, as well as raise awareness about issues that plague the poor.
There is currently a lack of an engagement mechanism to involve the youth in understanding and problem solving of social development issues. The youth community's concern, ability and energy can and should be leveraged to further fundamental social causes.
